You Tube Glory is not just about instant (or not so instant) fame. It is also the story behind the most popular videos. It's the answer to 'Who is That?' or 'What happened next?'. We will be bringing you those stories as we dig them up.
And now, the Highest Rated Videos of all time- Paul Potts; extraordinary performance on Britain's Got Talent: Singing Nessum Dorma. And Judson Laipply's fabulous 'Evolution of Dance'. It just goes to show you that people love talent, true creativity, and most of all- heart.
Potts broke his collarbone in a bicycle accident in 2003, which prevented him from pursuing opera as a career. He says that this, as well as financial difficulties, led to him entering the talent show, which he won and got the opportunity to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance 2007.
In the interview that was broadcast before his performance in the semi-final, Paul stated that he had trouble with in school, and that it may have had an influence on his (lack of) self-confidence.
He has been married since to Julie-Anne, whom he met in an Internet chat room.
Until June 19, 2007 Potts worked as a manager at the Bridgend Carphone_Warehouse, a mobile phone store around 8 miles from his home town. He was a Liberal Democrat councillor in Bristol from 1996 to 2003.
